Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Section Chief, Neonatology, to lead a successful neonatology program. The Section Chief will provide overall clinical and academic leadership at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital within Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The Section Chief will lead the delivery of exemplary critical care to patients and families. This position reports to the Chairman of Pediatrics, Harpreet Pall, MD.
Working collaboratively with the Chairman of Pediatrics , the Section Chief will continue to lead and expand the clinical, academic and administrative functions to plan for short and long range growth of the unit. This growth will include creating and executing strategic initiatives, mentoring physician faculty and the enhancing the educational opportunities for providers and nursing staff.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of proven clinical, academic and administrative leadership in a similar size institution, be board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and be eligible for an associate professor/professor faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian Health Medical School at Seton Hall University.
