Critical Care Medical Director - Orlando Health

The Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking to hire a Critical Care Medical Director to join our medical team at Orlando Health Dr. Phillips Hospital. Our practice includes closed hospital-based ICU's, a Primary Stroke Center with neuro-interventional specialists, oncology services through the Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center, surgical services which include vascular surgery, neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery, diagnostic and interventional cardiology services, an Accredited Heart Failure Program and Accredited Chest Pain Program. The Orlando Health Medical Group also utilizes a tele-critical care model. We are a true multidisciplinary team.

The CCM Director functions as an Intensivist and is responsible for site operations at their designated ICUs.  The CCM Director reports to and works collaboratively with OHMG Administration and the Hospital leadership team to operationalize strategic initiatives for the practice of Critical Care Medicine. Major Functions:  The essential functions fall under three broad categories:

  1. Clinical Performance
  2. Team Performance
  3. Operations

 

Performance in these areas ensures adequate delivery to our patients, families, primary care physicians, nurses, consultants, case managers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, house staff, ED staff, rehab staff, hospital administrators and intensivists.

Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Critical Care Medicine Residency Program
  • Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
  • Active Florida medical license preferred
  • 2-5 years post graduate experience
