  • Employed position through Warren Clinic
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Must become BC within 7 years of completing training)

  • Clinic – 2 full days (8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • OR – 3 days Block Schedule

  • Required 8 nights of Trauma ER call per month

  • Anticipated Case Mix:
    • 840 cases total in 2018
    • 60% Spine; 40% Brain
    • Skull based lesions
    • AVM (arteriovenous malformation)

Referral Pattern:

  • 100% patients are Warren Clinic providers/referrals

  • Newly renovated larger operating rooms with standardized configuration to allow varied types of surgical cases
  • Stainless steel walls, terrazzo flooring and laminar airflow systems to further assure sterility and high air quality
  • Ceiling booms for lights and equipment to keep floor space open
  • Digitally-integrated operating rooms
  • Advanced communication system between OR suites
  • The recent completion of 28,000 square feet of new surgical space with 28 OR rooms total
    • Currently in state 3 of 4, with stage 4 slated for completion in Spring of 2020.
  • Level II Trauma Tertiary Center –verified by state – Volume of a Level I
  • Intracranial Monitoring (used to monitor pressure within the skull)
    • Codman (Utilized when ICP monitoring is needed without the need to drain CSF)
    • EVD (Extra Ventricular Drain – monitors intracranial pressure by inserting drain into the ventricle of brain to monitor pressure and diverts cerebrospinal fluid from the head.) *Also used to treat various forms of traumatic brain injury.
