Employment Opportunity Details:

  • 100% Inpatient 
  • 7 on / 7 off day-time schedule 
  • Open ICU
  • Comfortable performing procedures preferred - central Lines, Intubations, paracentesis, thoracentesis
  • Teaching opportunities
  • Experience preferred
  • Comfort with critical care triage and limited specialty presence preferred
  • Requires: ABIM BC or BE, Eligible for Indiana Medical License

Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct patient care involving usual inpatient hospital services: diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease and disability 
  • Work with Advanced Providers
  • Services include hospital admissions, inpatient consultations and discharge education
  • Participate in daily huddles and collaborative rounding with multidisciplinary staff
  • Physicians will receive an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Medicine at IU School of Medicine
