Penrose-St. Francis Health System is actively recruiting for a gynecologic oncologist to join our amazing oncology team. As the flagship hospital within Centura Health, Penrose-St. Francis has provided gynecologic oncology services to the Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado region for over a decade. With over 200 primarily diagnosed gynecological cancers annually and greater than 650 surgical cases per year, our gynecologic oncology program is a mainstay of the Penrose Cancer Center.

With a team of Advanced Practice Providers, nurse navigators, clinical trial coordinators and others, the women treated at Penrose-St. Francis receive state-of-the art care and support. Our surgeons have at their disposal both the XI and SI da Vinci robots and very experienced dedicated operating staff. As the largest cancer center in the state's only cancer Network, the surgeons at Penrose-St. Francis have the opportunity to collaborate with referring providers statewide.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital; Obtain Medical Staff Privileges
  • within the Centura Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate or DO required
  • MD - Obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
