Wenatchee Valley:

Wenatchee Valley Hospital & Clinic has 350+ physicians and mid-level practitioners who offer over 40 specialties. The Wenatchee campus is also the home of the regional Cancer Treatment Center and Wenatchee Valley Hospital.

Wenatchee Valley Hospital & Clinics was founded in 1940 by Dr. Haug, Smith and Mares. Their vision was to establish a comprehensive medical practice using the Mayo Clinic model for residents of the Wenatchee Valley, and to one day house all medical specialties under one roof. In 2001, Wenatchee Valley Hospital opened on the main Wenatchee Valley Clinic campus, and this healthcare system became known as Wenatchee Valley Clinic. Today, Wenatchee Valley Hospital & Clinic is a 20 bed facility providing acute medical and surgical services, and inpatient rehabilitation, and owns/operates numerous clinics offering multi-specialty and primary care in 11 communities of four counties in North Central Washington. By investing in technology and resources to stay on the leading edge of healthcare innovation, our communities get local access to leading medicine.

Who is Confluence Health?

Confluence Health is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals, more than 40 medical specialties and primary care, to provide comprehensive medical care throughout North Central Washington. With over 270 physicians and 150 advanced practice clinicians, Confluence Health is the major medical provider between Seattle and Spokane. Our goal is to deliver high-quality, safe, compassionate, and cost-effective care close to home. Staying on the leading edge of healthcare innovation is important, so we invest in technology—to provide better care for our patients and allow our providers to operate at the highest level.

We actively support the communities we serve, because investing in people is central to our mission. That’s why our rural health initiative is so vital. When you join one of Confluence’s rural practices, you enjoy the strength of a world-class healthcare system, in an environment and lifestyle that’s rich with opportunity.\

About the Community

The quality of life in the Wenatchee Valley is unsurpassed, evident by a steadily increasing population and a strong, diverse economy. The area’s natural beauty and abundance of recreational opportunities are two of the many reasons people come to the Wenatchee Valley.

Nestled between the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia River, we enjoy over 200 days of sunshine annually, snow-capped mountains, and the lakes and rivers of the high desert. Our region offers a diversity of recreational activities to choose from including skiing, hiking, golf, white water rafting, fly fishing, cycling, mountain biking, and kayaking. The region also offers a family friendly environment with safe communities, good schools and opportunities for the entire family to be involved in culture and arts.
