We are currently seeking physicians with an interest and training in Pediatric Pulmonology to join our team in establishing a new peds pulmonary program in the Raleigh area . The division will provide comprehensive care for children with pulmonary issues through our outpatient clinic and through consultative support for the WakeMed Children's Hospital NICU, PICU and pediatric inpatient services. 

WakeMed Children's Hospital and NICU recently underwent a state of the art renovation and offers a wide array of sub-specialty support. The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients within their division as well as providing teaching and supervision to residents and medical students. The physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. We encourage participation in divisional research activities.  Call coverage and clinical responsibilities will be shared with team members.  

This position reports directly to the Director of Pediatric Subspecialties and supports the mission, values, and management of WPP. Qualified candidates must be currently BE/BC in Pediatric Pulmonology.
