Saint Francis Healthcare (SFH) has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join a practice located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Saint Francis Healthcare Hematology/Oncology provides the people of Wilmington and beyond with top quality cancer care uniquely crafted to accommodate each patient's condition, lifestyle and personal preferences. A member of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center network, created by Thomas Jefferson University, we have access to the latest in cancer research, technology and treatments. Frontrunners in cancer care research, the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center orchestrates some of the most ambitious clinical trials and revolutionary treatments in the medical field. Normally, this type of cutting-edge cancer treatment is available only in Philadelphia, but now local residents of Delaware can receive the same level of quality care without having to travel.

This hospital based practice currently has one Hematology/Oncology physician on staff and is expanding, due to growth in the community. Saint Francis Healthcare recently opened a state-of-the-art ten chair infusion center that is staffed with one Nurse Practitioner and three Infusion nurses.

Wilmington, Delaware lies on the shores of the Christina and Delaware rivers. It
is the largest city in the state of Delaware, built on the site of Fort Christina, the first Swedish settlement in North America. It is located at the confluence of the Christina River and Brandywine River, near where the Christina flows into the Delaware River.
