Southampton Memorial Hospital (219 beds) between Franklin and Suffolk, Virginia, is actively seeking a BC Neurology physician to join 2 other physicians, and will only serve one hospital. Experience is preferred. 

Southampton Memorial Hospital is approximately one hour from Virginia Beach, and only a 25-minute drive from Suffolk, and two hours from the Outer Banks.

Location Description

SOUTHAMPTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, a 221-bed facility established in 1963, serves the needs of more than 28,000 area residents. The hospital boasts a medical staff of almost 100 physicians representing a wide range of specialties, such as cardiology, nephrology, urology and general surgery. A full range of services is provided by the hospital, including a 24-hour emergency room, cardiac rehabilitation, a sleep disorders center, obstetric/gynecological services, surgery, skilled and long-term care, behavioral health, home health and hospice. Southampton Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the Virginia State Department of Health.

Franklin, a town with 8700 residents, is conveniently located in beautiful southeastern Virginia.
