Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is assisting a well-established primary care group to recruit an Internal Medicine physician to take the place of a retiring physician. The group has been in Aiken since 1998 and currently has a staff of four physicians and one Nurse Practitioner. The position will feature a traditional mix of office-based and inpatient care. There is a strong need for primary care in the Aiken area, so a new physician can expect to build a practice quickly. The group is busy, averaging 25 patients per day in one office location, and promotes strong continuity of care by following their patients into the hospital. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE and interested in developing a new practice in a vibrant community. Compensation is very competitive and includes an income guarantee, benefits and other incentives.
